After a scenic drive through the vineyards of Stellenbosch, arrive at Aquila Private Game Reserve, where a refreshing welcome drink awaits. Your afternoon unfolds with an open-roof 4x4 game drive led by a seasoned ranger. Traverse savanna-like terrain in search of the Big Five—lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and giraffe. Additional wildlife such as zebras, hippo, and various antelope may also be encountered. Your ranger will take you to scenic lookout points for easy wildlife viewing and photographs.
Once the drive concludes, enjoy leisure time at the curio shop or bar before journeying back to Cape Town, enriched by safari stories and Africa’s wild beauty.

08:00 | Pickup from Cape Town
Guests are collected from their hotel or accommodation in Cape Town and begin a scenic drive through the Cape Winelands. Expect beautiful vineyard views and towering mountain passes. -
10:00 – Arrival at Aquila Private Game Reserve
Upon arrival, you're warmly welcomed with a refreshing complimentary drink and guided to the lodge. -
12:00 – Buffet Lunch: Enjoy a delicious buffet-style lunch at the lodge restaurant. The buffet includes traditional South African dishes, fresh salads, and vegetarian options.

13:30 – Safari Game Drive Begins: Climb aboard a 4x4 open safari vehicle for an exciting 2- to 2.5-hour guided drive through the reserve. A knowledgeable ranger will help you spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard), as well as giraffe, hippo, zebra, eland, springbok, and more.

15:45 – Free Time & Shopping
After the safari, unwind at the lodge. You can relax at the bar, browse handmade crafts in the curio shop, or take photos of the surrounding landscape. -
16:30 – Depart for Cape Town
Leave Aquila with wonderful memories and make your way back to Cape Town via the scenic route. -
18:30 – Drop-off at Hotel
You’ll be dropped off at your original pickup location.
